POR-15 Floor Pan and Trunk Restoration Kit has everything you need to repair and restore your floor pan or trunk bed.

Kit Contains:

  • One Quart POR-15 Cleaner Degreaser
  • One 8oz POR-15 Metal Prep
  • One 8oz POR-15 Solvent
  • One POR-15 Epoxy Putty
  • Four Brushes and Reinforcing Fabric
  • Safety Mask
  • Latex Gloves and Dispensing Scoop
  • Two Pints POR-15 Rust Preventive (Silver and Black)
  • One Pint POR-15 Top Coat (Chassis Black)

How do you fill holes without welding?

This floorboard has lots of rust-through, but it can be fixed.

First, thoroughly clean with Cleaner Degreaser and rinse off.

Next, prep the surface with Metal Prep, rinse off and let dry.

Cut a section of Power Mesh Reinforcing Fabric to fit the area. Be sure to use gloves and goggles for this project!

Coat the floorboard with POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating (Silver used here) and while wet, place the POR-15 Power Mesh Reinforcing Fabric onto it. Add a few coats of POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating on top, working it into the fabric.

Once the coated POR-15 Power Mesh Reinforcing Fabric dries to rock-hard finish, it can then be coated with POR-15 Top Coat.
