Patch

This isn't going to be your typical review. I'm not a welder or body man or mechanic. The first time I used this was around 2010. I had a 55 Chevy that the person I had paint it missed a quarter size bead blasted hole near the rear bumper. I put masking tape on the out side of the hole and filled the back with patch. The car was black and you could never see the fix and it was as hard as the metal. I then began using it around the home as an unbelievable glue. This stuff will glue anything you have better than anything I have ever seen. I have fixed broken plastic pieces that no glue would fix strong enough many times. I'm ordering two tubes tonight for a project I have going on and future projects. Found an old drive in theater window speaker. Its made out of pot metal. There's no way to hold the front and back halves together. Going to use patch. They will never come apart again but that's what I want. A permanent fix! The only issue I have is sealing it up until you use it next time. I put a drywall screw in the end and un screw it when I need to use it. Any other thing I have tried has glued solid...lol...that's how good this stuff is!

This is a great product!! but back when I got it the first time it was clear and very different. The black and white are great for filling in small holes and I have used the black one on the rear window channels for my 73 Morris Mini a few years back and have not had any problems with them since. But I Wish they still made the clear one as well, I have used the clear one to repair hammers and other such things that the black and white ones are not as good for. Please bring the clear one back!!!

Used on 59 Willys Wagon restore project where lots of rust panels cut-out and replaced. This sealer was used to coat all weld joints, plus other existing joint area's which were open or in need of replacement factory seal. Project not complete ( driveable ) yet, but the " patch " seal went on and spread easy, covered a large amount of area by line or overlap joint, sealed and/or joined the panels solidly! Satisfied that it will stand the test of time and use.
